JETLEG was a new offshoot of their parent company, Support Sock Shop Inc., which had been in the compression garment industry for 15 years, supplying major commercial airlines with compression products for their flight attendants. JETLEG wished to fulfill a similar role for the average traveling individual and required the proper branding to put their best foot forward.
Anecdote crafted the JETLEG brand with care, a fact that can be seen from their logo. First and foremost, the logo is an artistic rendering of the letters “J” and “L.” But the graphic is also emblematic of a number of other connotations tied to the brand: the contrails of an aircraft, crossed legs, and, of course, blood flow. The blue color, too, has more than one interpretation—both reflecting the color of the sky as well as the color of blood as it appears through skin. The logo is featured on their packaging, which we categorized based on airline terms, as well as on their shopping bags, business cards, and more.
