THE BACKGROUND
Initially an online business that sold party goods, the company sought a brick-and-mortar store wholly unaffiliated with their online presence. The party goods they sold were unique pieces—exclusive, brand-name products that demanded to be touched by consumers. To fully appreciate the effect of their disposable flatware, dinnerware, etc., the party goods needed a physical setting.

THE PROCESS
Anecdote created the Jubilee brand from scratch. We reviewed the competitive scene in the shopping mall where their future store was to be located and looked for creative solutions that would help make them pop. We satisfied their desire for custom furniture by using reclaimed wood for shelving, and used elements from within the store outside to draw passersby in. We also conceived of a unique and telling name, furnished a tagline, and designed collateral in addition to launching them with a series of ad campaigns.

THE RESULT
A beautiful store that’s worth celebrating, Jubilee has become a natural stopping point for anyone looking to throw the perfect bash as well as curious shoppers who pass their storefront in the highly-trafficked mall.
